If you want to send file attachments (photos, videos, audio recordings or pdf files) you can do it by using the Cloud Link feature. It works with Automatic Mode and it reduces the send time and the storage space needed to send multiple messages with attachments.
You just select a file on your device and the app will auto-generate a Cloud Link that will be inserted at the end of your message. When a person receives your message the Cloud Link will be displayed as an attachment.
1. Save your file to the Files app
In order to attach a file (image, video, audio, pdf file), it needs to be placed inside the "Files" app ("iCloud Drive" or "On you iPhone"). You'll usually find the "Save to Files" option when you use the "Share" menu (Example: Photos app, Voice Memos app, etc).
2. Create the Cloud Link
You can access the Cloud Link feature from your keyboard toolbar when you compose the message. Just write your message and then tap the "Cloud" icon on the toolbar. After you select your file from the "Files" app the link to the Cloud File will be automatically inserted at the end of your message.
Note: It's really important to keep the Cloud Link at the end of your message. This way the Messages app knows it's something that needs to be displayed as an attachment.
3. Send the message
Send the message via Manual or Automatic mode and the attachment will be created for you automatically by the Messages app. That's it!
.
You can generate as many Cloud Links you need. The files are stored securely on the SendHype server and will expire automatically after 90 days. If you want to remove a file stored on our server just send us a request via email to support@sendhype.net using your personal Support Identifier (Go to "Settings" > Tap "Version" > Tap "Copy to clipboard").
