Sending Messages
To start sending, just tap the Send button and select either Manual or Automatic mode.
Manual Mode
For every contact, the app will display the Messages window with the recipient and the final message pre-filled for you.
- If you added photos/videos to your message, these files will also be attached
- You can cancel the sending process by tapping the X button on the compose window
Automatic Mode
The message sending will be handled by the Automatic Mode Shortcut, which will send the messages one-by-one in background.
- If you added photos/videos to your message, these files will also be attached
- You can cancel the sending process by force-closing the Shortcuts app
Recipients section
The Recipients section previews all the messages generated based on your template and group selection.
Please note that the placeholders will be replaced with actual values in this preview section. These are the final messages that will be sent via the Messages app.
You can toggle individual messages ON/OFF without updating the source group. The status label will indicate Ready or Skip.
Additional Information
- When all the messages are sent, the message status will change to Sent, and the progress will indicate 100%.
- When a message is marked as Sent, you cannot restart the sending process. If you want to use the same message, we suggest you duplicate this message.
- You can only edit the message content, attachments and destination group while the status shows New.
- You can resume the message sending of any Stopped message by using the Resume button.
