Novasoft Mobile ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, TextKeep (the "App").
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect and How We Process It
To strictly provide the chat stitching and export functionality, the App collects and processes specific user content.
A. Image and Chat Content (Server-Side Processing)
Data Collected: Screenshots of chat conversations you actively select and upload, and the text extracted from them.
Processing Method: To perform high-quality Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and image stitching, your screenshots are securely uploaded to our protected servers.
Purpose: The data is processed solely to convert your images into the requested file formats (PDF, CSV, TXT) and stitched images.
No Human Access: The processing is automated. No human personnel access or read your chat content during this process, except in rare technical support cases where you explicitly grant permission to debug a specific issue.
B. Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to function:
Internet Access: Required to upload images to our secure processing server and download the final results.
Storage / Photos: To select screenshots for processing and save the exported files to your device.
C. Usage Data
We may collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data (e.g., app crash logs, success rates of exports) to improve App stability. This data is separate from your personal chat content.
2. Data Retention and Deletion
We prioritize your privacy by minimizing data retention.
Temporary Processing: Your chat screenshots and extracted text are uploaded temporarily for the duration of the processing task. Once the export is generated and returned to your device, the original images and extracted text are automatically deleted from our servers (typically within [e.g., 24-48 hours] to ensure you have time to download the file).
Backups: We do not maintain a permanent cloud backup of your chat history. The final exported files are saved to your local device storage ("saved to disk"). You are responsible for backing up these files.
3. Data Security
We employ strict security measures to protect your data while it is in our care:
Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (Transport Layer Security).
Encryption at Rest: Any temporary data stored on our servers during processing is protected by encryption.
Strict Isolation: Your data is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by third-party advertisers, data brokers, or other users.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) strictly for hosting our servers and computing power. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and cannot access your content for their own purposes.
5. Your Rights
Right to Access: You view the data we process by looking at the input images and output files on your device.
Right to Delete: Since our system automatically deletes processed data after a short period, no action is usually required. However, you may contact us to request immediate confirmation of deletion for specific tasks.
