1. Introduction

Welcome to TextKeep ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TextKeep mobile application (the "App") operated by Novasoft Mobile (located in Romania).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TextKeep is a utility application that allows users to capture, stitch, and export chat conversations from third-party messaging platforms. The App uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract text and timestamps, allowing users to save conversations in various formats (PDF, CSV, TXT, Image) for backup or printing purposes.

3. User Content and Permissions

3.1 Ownership of Content

You retain all ownership rights to the screenshots, images, and chat content ("User Content") that you import or capture using the App. We do not claim ownership of your private conversations.

3.2 License to Process

By using the App, you grant Novasoft Mobile a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and revocable license to access, upload, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., stitching images, extracting text, and generating export files).

You acknowledge that this processing may occur on our secure servers, as detailed in our [Privacy Policy].
We do not store your content permanently; it is deleted from our servers after the processing task is complete.

3.3 User Responsibility

You represent and warrant that:

You have the necessary rights and consents to capture, export, and save the conversations you process with the App.
Your use of the App does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, or other rights of any person (including the other participants in the chat).
You will not use the App to create evidence for legal proceedings without consulting a legal professional regarding the admissibility of digital evidence in your jurisdiction.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

Violate any applicable national or international laws.
Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
Upload any content that contains software viruses or malicious code.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Exploit the App for any unauthorized commercial purpose.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The App itself, including its source code, visual design, logos, and algorithms (excluding your User Content), is the exclusive property of Novasoft Mobile and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. "TextKeep" is a trademark of Novasoft Mobile.

6. Third-Party Services and Disclaimers

6.1 No Affiliation

TextKeep is an independent tool developed by Novasoft Mobile. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Signal, or any other messaging platform. All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.

6.2 OCR Accuracy

The text extraction (OCR) feature relies on artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of the extracted text. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the exported files before relying on them.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Novasoft Mobile expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that your data will never be lost.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novasoft Mobile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

Loss of data (including chat history).
Loss of profits or revenue.
Legal consequences resulting from your sharing or use of exported chat logs.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the App in the past six months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Romania. Novasoft Mobile and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Romania shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
