Sending messages - Automatic mode

After you created a message and selected a destination contact group you're ready to send it using the details window. In order to use the Automatic Mode you'll need to install a Shortcut that will send the messages for you. Please read more about the shortcut installation here.

Sending the messages

Just tap the Send button and select the Automatic Mode. This will allow you to send messages without interacting with the Messages app for every message.

• The SendHype shortcut will be launched and the Send Queue will be executed one by one
• You can specify a time delay between messages in the Settings section
• The send progress will be updated automatically

Cloud Link attachments

If you want to send file attachments (photos, videos, audio recordings or pdf files) you can do it by using the Cloud Link feature. It works with Automatic Mode and it reduces the send time and the storage space needed to send multiple messages with attachments. You can read more about this feature here.

Message delay

You can set a custom delay when sending automatic messages (1..60 seconds). The shortcut will wait a specific amount of seconds before sending a new message. This will prevent the carrier from flagging your phone number as SPAM.

The "Send Queue"

This queue will preview all the messages that were generated based on your template & group selection. Please note that the placeholders will be replaced with actual values. These are the final messages that will be sent via Messages app.

You can toggle ON/OFF individual messages without updating the source group. The status label will indicate Ready or Skip.

You can see additional SendQueue options by long pressing the queue list.

• Select all (will select all contacts)
• Deselect all (will deselect all contacts)
• Search for contact (will automatically scroll to the contact you're searching for)
• Scroll to next message (will automatically scroll to the next message scheduled for sending)

Additional information

• When all the messages are sent the message status will change to Finished and the progress will indicate 100%.
• When a message is marked as Finished or Canceled you cannot restart the sending process. If you want to use the same message and/or group we suggest you duplicate this message as described here and restart the full process.
• You can only edit the message content and destination group while the status still shows New.
